LAUREN ARUDA
ARTIST + ART EDUCATOR

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
I believe that art is visual communication that can be accessed by all people, creating a universal language for everyone to perceive. My intent as an art educator is to teach my students how to interpret and “visually speak” this language using the elements and principles of design and appreciation for art history, giving them the tools they need to be able to express their own unique artist’s voice.
